2. Market overview
The agrochemical market entered its traditional off-season. Downstream demand consisted of scattered replenishment and a small volume of government procurement orders, while the whole chain focused on working down inventory. Costs stayed under pressure from geopolitical tension, and extreme weather kept safety inspections tight with operating rates low.
Of the more than 100 products tracked, 61% fell, 14% were unchanged and 25% rose year on year; month on month, 42% fell, 57% were unchanged and 1% rose.
